georgia dorey is a London based designer and graduate of the Royal College of Art.
winner of the Royal College of Art Colour Prize and the Osbourne and Little Print Scholarship in 2013 she is a trained print designer in both digital and screen-printed textiles. clients include KENZO, Agnes B, Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenburg, Calvin Klein and Anthropologie.
working as a designer her work is a continuous investigation, heavily influenced by the Japanese notion of ‘Ma’. a belief that space between the layers and folds of a garment is more than simply a void, but rather a rich space that can possess a vast energy. her designs are comprised of a series of two-dimensional shapes that are inexplicably complex and equally simple.
